The Cottage is situated on ten very secluded acres of privately owned property at the end of a chain of lakes surrounded by Florida’s Ocala National Forest. The area is a nature lover’s paradise; eagle, osprey and sand hill cranes are frequent visitors, along with the elusive black bear and white-tail deer. Bring your binoculars and camera and experience what Florida was like in year’s past. There are miles of hiking trails in the forest and trophy bass fishing on the many lakes of Lake County or on the St. Johns River” The Bass fishing Capitol of the World”
Hunt for deer or wild turkey in season or dive at Alexander Springs. Perhaps enjoy the bumper- to- bumper racing action at Daytona International Speedway, or the spectacle of “Bike Week” or “Biketoberfest”. Whatever your indulgence, your comfort and privacy is our main concern.
The cottage has central air and heat, one large bedroom with queen size bed one bath, shower only, dining room,, living room with pull out sofa for additional sleeping, breakfast bar in the kitchen and a large screened porch over looking the dock and lake.

Exit Ormond Beach, SR 40 go west apox 32 miles bear left on CR 445-A continue 3 miles to Longwoods Rd
From I-75
Exit Ocala, silver Springs Blvd which becomes SR 40 go east apox 35 miles to SR 19 go south 4 miles to CR 445-A go east 1 mile to Longwoods Rd
From the Orlando area
North on US 441 exit North at the Eustis exit go north apox 19 miles to CR 445-A east 1 mile to Longw,oods Rd ( watch your speed on this road)
Once on Longwoods Rd continue 1 mile up the old logging road and turn right at our sign another 1/10 of a mile and you are on our property
