The Cottage is situated on ten secluded acres of privately owned property at the end of a chain of lakes surrounded by Florida's Ocala National Forest. It's the perfect retreat for the writer, artist or nature lover. Eagle, osprey and sandhill crane are frequent visitors along with the elusive black bear and white-tail deer

You will find miles of hiking, off road vehicle and horse trails in the forest. Also trophy bass fishing in our many lakes or the nearby St. Johns River.
